OCIMF have released a new method for Operators with vessels registered in SIRE to request an inspection on their vessels from within the SIRE Programme. Rather than contacting Submitting Companies individually; Operators can now request an inspection directly through SIRE.
Inspection Requests can be offered to up to five Submitting Companies in a priority ordered sequence controlled by the Operator. Inspection Requests remain live for a period of two weeks or until accepted and an inspection is commissioned. In cases where the request is rejected by all Submitting Companies in the queue Operators are notified and they may resubmit a new Inspection Request to other Submitting Companies.
