OCIMF is delighted to inform you that Chris Scothern, who was recently seconded to OCIMF as the Merchant Navy Liaison Officer to UKMTO/IMSC & CMF in the Middle East, has today been awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for meritorious service by the UK Department for Transport. 

This is great recognition of his hard work in the Middle East on behalf of the OCIMF membership and the important role he played during a very challenging period of regional tension.
