Offshore
Delivering, handling, storage and transferring oil or liquefied gas at offshore terminal floating systems and offtake tankers involves complex safety and environmental risks. Ensuring personnel are trained and equipped to appropriately manage those operational risks, particularly within the 500m exclusion zone, and that the highest standards of safety and best practice are implemented is a critical concern in preventing harm to people and the environment.
OCIMF’s resource materials are developed to provide evidence-based technical guidance developed by industry experts in order to improve the safety of operations. Publications are developed to respond to specific areas of risk or concern, or to provide new guidance on emerging issues. Many of OCIMF’s publications are developed in association with other relevant industry organisations and in collaboration with representatives from across the marine industry.
