Poonam is a senior finance professional, CIMA qualified (ACMA, CMGA) and holds an MBA Finance credential from Preston University.
Poonam has a wealth of experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting and senior stakeholder management, spanning over 20 years of leading end to end finance processes and business partnering with C-suite and senior leadership teams.
Having started her career with General Electric in 2002, she has developed her skills in a range of industries spanning real estate, oil and gas, renewable energy, learning and development, and technology. Working with The Crown Estate for nearly 10 years, she specialised in energy and renewables and marine sectors, delivering commercial outperformance and streamlined management reporting.
She also led the finance team at Liberty Steel Group, an international metals and manufacturing group, enabling robust financial management of the underlying steel and mining entities. She was responsible for driving transformational change across the organisation, leveraging new technology, processes, and best practices, thereby building and strengthening the finance teams.
